alexa created the topic: how to put a file in a path in an another server
Hello,

I created a connection on a server, and I try to deposit files.
But the files which I deposit are it in the root (I:), I want to deposit them in the path / DVEFTP / STAMBIA.
I tried the path with: //,/, \\, \ but files always arrive in the root.

How can I do?

Thanks you for your help

Alexa

Hi,
Are you referring to a FTP Metadata ? Or a FileServer metadata ?
What sort of Action are you using in the process ?

Thanks, this helps a lot.
It seems that you drag and droped the server node of the Ftp metadata on the Ftp actions.
Please try to remove this from the action, and instead drag and drop the Directory node of the Ftp metadata.
The Ftp action will know the directory, and also the server connection details.
Without the Directory node, the Ftp action only knows the connection details (not the directory).
